Would my answer be: (-infiniti,-5) U (-5,4) U (4,infiniti) ? to the problem: Find the domain of the following function and express in interval notation: f(x)=2x-10/x^2-x-20

OpenStudy (anonymous):

denominator factors into (x - 5)(x + 4) So your zeros are 5 and -4.....not -5 and 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have the right idea though. just use 5 and -4
