Are there any religions that say that its okay to love anyone you want?

Yeah, In islam u can love anyone u want to like with parents, sisters, brothers,uncles, aunt u can also love ur male or female cousin as well as friends BUT just love them u cant touch them physically because that will be a sin:)

Love is defined as a warm attachment and the only Christian admonish is "If an eye offend thee pluck it out". Sexual relations is not really love that's why you have the expression "making love" or try to make a connection. In the Old Testament God say's "Israel played the adultress and Judea the fornicator", as you can see this isn't talking about sexual relations.

Even as you used it its only a matter of degree but the love is the same. In the Gospel's Christ sums up the commandments as "Love God with all heart, soul, and strength and your neighbor as yourself. Again there's two types of love because if you love God with all your love what's left for your neighbor.

Neither abortion. There's a prophecy in Isaiah "a young child shall lead them" and most modern people don't really understand it. The initial meaning of child is "a resent or unborn person" and for a young child to lead them must mean a woman in their first trimester. This was tried with the Moral Majority and the Catholics but Reagan failed on his promises and ended up putting our country in worse shape. My studies actually shows there was really no more legal abortion after Roe vs Wade then illegal ones prior, the only real difference was society acceptance of it. What's actually coming about in our county is "there's no validity for morality" and it's only the Laws a county can enforce that are valid.

I just want to clarify that in Christianity, yes same sex marriage is a sin but we are to love thy neighbor as thy self. also we aren't suppose to call people on sin. and jesus said love the sinner, not the sin. im Christian catholic and i have "gay/lesbian" friends. js. a lot of Christians are sinning by hating homosexuals.

In the Prophets it say's "When someone is in error correct them and you'll not be responsible, otherwise you are". Christ said "Remove the plank from your I eye so you can better see to remove a mote from someone else's". It's sort of like temptation, incite to do some wrong for pleasure or gain, which you can't escape if you do not know what's "wrong". I do not believe one should just tell someone their wrong but give personal examples in your own life to clarify. Frankly I wouldn't even use scriptures because most don't follow them, considering them out dated, but I would if they asked. Remember there's two types of Love, one for the Father and one for each other, but they may be the same if the Father chooses. Its this uniting Love that Christ warns if and eye offend the pluck it out, when others affect you negatively internally pluck either what offends out of them or them out of you.
