OpenStudy (anonymous):

3(4x-2)>=7x+19, opening the brackets on the left hand side leaves you with =12x-6>=7x+19, subtract 7x from both sides of the inequality =12x-6-7x>=7x+19-7x, this would leave you with =5x-6>=19, now add 6 to both sides of the inequality =5x-6+6>=19+6, this gives you =5x>=25, divide both sides of the inequality by 5 =x>=5, and this is what you get Hope this helps
