Josh's gas tank is 4/9 full. After he buys 4 gallons of gas, it is 2/3 full. How many gallons can Josh's tank hold?

4/9 full + 4 gallons makes it 6/9 full. Therefore, 4 gallons is 2/9 of the tank volume. So entire tank = 4 * 9/2 = 18 gallons
