You can count if a polynomial is a monomial, binomial, or any other nomial by looking at how many things you're adding up. In this case, you're not adding anything, so It's a monomial. If you where adding up two things together, you'd have a binomial. If you where adding up three things, it'd be a trinomial, and so on.
