Find the values for x, y, and z if the figure.

OpenStudy (nikato):

so whats the total degree in a triangle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@nikato I don't know.. I really don't understand any of it..

OpenStudy (nikato):

well, a triangle is equal to 180 degrees. ok?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A- x=70, y=58, z=53 B- x=80 y=38 z= 63 C- x=85 y=38 z=63 D- x=80 y=48 z=63

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@nikato okay

OpenStudy (jusaquikie):

all angles in a triangle add up to 180, this has 3 triangles so use that to find a triangle that has 2 angles listed then add them up and take 180 -(the sum of the two angles) now you have another piece to the puzzle. keep going till you have all 3.

OpenStudy (jusaquikie):

so to start.... 17+100+z=180

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did you get 17? @Jusaquikie

OpenStudy (anonymous):

He got the 17 from the angle in the triangle

OpenStudy (jusaquikie):

it's on the picture you posted solve for z, then z+62+(y+17)=180

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay @Jusaquikie

OpenStudy (jusaquikie):

then finaly 62+y+x=180 solve for x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@justinee oh thank you
