if a piece of wire is 80cm long, find the area of the largest rectangle that can be formed by the wire

Have you considered defining your rectangle by its width and length? How does the perimeter relate to the length of the wire?

I've done it and I came up with 800cm^2. However, apparently it's only supposed to be 400m^2
