Geez - now I'm meeting the rest of the family. Answer is no real solutions Reason? Part of the quadratic formula is the expression Square root of B² - 4*a*c The value of that is 4 - 4*3*7 = sq root (-80) whenever we have to find a negative square root, the answer is always a complex number.
