A rectangular plate at rest on a frictionless, horizontal table is subjected to an unbalanced force as shown in the figure. The applied force is F=9N, in the direction shown. The mass of the plate is m=2.99kg. L2=0.32m and L1=0.95m. (a)What is the magnitude of the linear acceleration of the centre of mass of the plate ? (I've figured this easier part out with an answer of 3.010m/s/s) b) What is the magnitude of the angular acceleration of the of the plate α ? Need help with b). Diagram below:
