is my answer 2/3 ? The force of gravity between two objects is inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. If the force between two particular objects is 4 newtons when they are 6 kilometers apart, find "k", the constant of proportionality.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Force [F] inversely proportional to square of distance [r]: \[F = \frac{ k }{ r^2 }\] plug in F = 4 and r = 6 and solve for k ^_^

ok thanx =)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what would F be considered?
