There's quite a bit out there from buildings like the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul (which was Constantinople, the capital of the Byzantine Empire) to Orthodox Christianity and its artistic icons which flourished under the Byzantines. International law also owes a bit of thanks to Justinian's Code, the big compilation of Roman laws that Justinian had cleaned up and put together as the law for the Byzantine empire.
