OS is not a dating site or personals site. It really does not have a relationship area. In fact, soliciting personal information is against the CoC and ToS. There is also the no-creepy rule.

With all of that, people still try to start relationships here. Moderators generally ignore TC links because it is basically getting things off of OS. Chat gets slammed if things go past light flirting. Personal Messages (not Private Messages, Personal) are still subject to the CoC, etc. so if they get reported, it is also an issue.

Interpersonal Communications is a Social Science and Communications class that covers communications on the most personal levels. This is a foundation of relationships and any academic discussion in improving your communications skills would be appropriate in those areas.

Marriage and Family Relations is a Social Science and studies the myriad of complex relationships that deal with those topics.

Those offer place for a more technical discussion on the issues, which could lead to personal improvements.

The problem with a personal question is how personal? This is a very public site with no age filters on any part. Just use a guest account and you can access all of OS back to the beginning of the present database. That makes some questions very tricky to deal with.
