help with these do a few with me? For each of the quadratic functions given below: (a) Complete the square to write the equation in the standard form f (x) = a(x − h)^2 + k . f (x) = 2x^2 −8x +11

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

ok... so do you know how to complete the square...?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

I'm sure someone will pop in and give the answer as I try to explain it... seems to always happen... start by grouping the terms in x together \[f(x) = (2x^2 - 8x) + 11\]
