An idea to reduce the spam in chats

Moderators when usually type something in chat as a warning to the user who is trolling/spamming/bullying then they are unable to get the attention of the user to their comments as many comments are posted at a time in the chat. I think, mods should have the option to make their text bold and a little larger size which will surely act as the first warning to the user who is spamming the system. And then , it will not be wrong to suspend the user if he/she continues the gaming of system.

I know that mods have the option to warn the user but that is a bit strict one for a user who has just come to OpenStudy , so if mods give the first warning in the chat box and then take the action will be better.

Can't you just report the user that's spamming?
