How do i do this? Rewrite each espression as a single Logarithm.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\log_{3} x-2 \log_{3} 5 + 3\log_{3}w \]

hartnn (hartnn):

hi :) do you know rules of logarithms ? \(\large a\log b=... \\ \large \log (A) + \log(B)=... ?\\ \large \log (A) - \log(B)=... ?\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\log_{b} \frac{ a }{ b } = \log_{b} A -\log_{b} B ?\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah i know the rules of logarithms

hartnn (hartnn):

yes, good :) so, 2 log 5 can be written as log 5^2 , right ? and similarly, what about 3 log w ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

w^3*?

hartnn (hartnn):

yeah, its log w^3 so now we have log x -log 25 +log w^3 , right ? can you try to simplify it further ? using, log A+logB = log AB and log A-log B = log A/B

hartnn (hartnn):

doubts? any problem?
