what are the solutions of the inequality? 12x-3x+11>4x-(17-9x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can someone please help me solve this plzs

OpenStudy (anonymous):

12x - 3x + 11 > 4x - (17 - 9x) distribute through the parenthesis 12x - 3x + 11 > 4x - 17 + 9x combine like terms 9x + 11 > 13x - 17 subtract 13x from both sides 9x - 13x + 11 > -17 subtract 11 from both sides 9x - 13x > -17 - 11 combine like terms - 4x > -28 divide by -4 and change the inequality sign x < 7 any questions ?
