OpenStudy Feedback 14 Online
OpenStudy (mathlegend):

I feel as though we have individuals here who miss the point of OpenStudy. I believe we have some people here who are simply here to get the most medals, have the highest smart score, and to have the most fans. When I take it upon myself to help another person I am there to clearly explain to the best of my ability. So it does not help one bit when you have someone come in and post the entire process of solving the problem. I like to take it step by step and want feedback from the person. Anyone can post the process of how you got the answer. However, everyone is not great at explaining why.

OpenStudy (mathlegend):

I seriously just do not see the point of why some people must do this. We are not in some race to see who can give out the best answers. I would appreciate it if some people would take a step back. This doesn't even happen with just new people. I have seen people with higher smart scores than me do it. http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/52768831e4b0b63ff644666c

OpenStudy (mathlegend):

There is no learning involved to me when things like that are done. It takes away from OpenStudy. It takes away from the person seeking an answer because what they may do is just copy down your work. Then I just hope when they get to that test in school they get an A on that test. Or maybe they will get a 100% for homework completion. Then, once the test comes they fail or their grade is not very pleasant. Who is there taking the test? Them, not the person on OpenStudy who gives answers.

@MathLegend - You are totally right there. OpenStudy is lucky to have an ambassador like you! thanks for that feedback, I , being an ambassador will try to discourage such users and guide them to the OS Code - of - conduct. Do report them so that they can get proper reaction from the mods.
