I recently read a newspaper article about a dog named Gunner. Gunner was rescued from a dog breeding kennel where he had been severely abused. When his new owner picked him up from the rescue society, he was malnourished and scared of everything around him. In his first year, he learned how to walk on a leash, play with toys, lie on the bed or sofa, and enjoy being petted by his family. He is a success story because when he was adopted he was a frightened, abused dog and is now a funny, playful, healthy canine. What form of writing was the newspaper story?

A. Expository B. Narrative C. Persuasive D. Technical

I believe narrative because it's definitely not persuasive. Isn't expository because expository usually is another form of persuasive. And i'm not sure what technical writing is.
