what are the solutions of the inequality?graph the solution -12r<-24

OpenStudy (compassionate):

To solve an inequality, we can simply treat it as an equation. However - there is a slightly different rule you might want to memorize. In an inequality, if we divide or multiply by a negative, the signs switched. E.g., -2x < 10 = x > -5 Here we have: -12r<-24 Divide by a negative. \[\frac{ -12x }{ -12 } < \frac{ -24 }{ -12 }\] negative/negative = positive \[x > 2\]
