Guys i have this assignment from The Scarlett Letter where i have to write a 139 word sentence. I can only use 2 semicolons. I hope that someone can help edit mine when im done in about 10-15 mins.

Well in the first instance that you use the three dashes, I'd use I'd replace with a period and start the next sentence with ''It is carrying the precious cargo''

the assignment @Mertsj is to write a 139 word sentence. A single sentence. thats the challengeing aspect to it.

The first set of dashes are not really needed..

The anticipation is building as I await the arrival of the small, dark grey, eco-friendly automobile carrying its precious cargo, man's best friend, who is wearing the color black with a small white dot;

yes.  My only quibble is that the second part sounds too much like a second sentence "glued" onto the first part.  But I think it's ok.

I might try to tie the ideas together, like this  (just an idea)

The anticipation is building as I await the arrival of the small, dark grey, eco-friendly automobile carrying its precious cargo, man's best friend, who is wearing the color black with a small white dot; and now the anticipation grows further as the wolf-faced pet approaches slowly to come and meet her possible owners at the doorstep
