how do I solve this equation? x(x+2)(x-2)(x-5)=y

OpenStudy (mertsj):

The roots are where the graph crosses the x axis so set y equal to 0. Then use the property that says "if the product of factors is zero, one of the factors has to be 0" and set each factor equal to 0 and solve each equation.
