x equals what? https://media.glynlyon.com/g_geo_2012/7/group187.gif

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are any of the sides congruent? Do you know what type of quadrilateral it is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So if they are congruent, does x equal 98?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you

OpenStudy (mertsj):

We have to start over. An inscribed angles is equal to half it's arc so the arc of the 98 degree angle is 196. That leaves 360-196 for the arc of the angle x.

OpenStudy (mertsj):

half of that is 82. So the angle x is 82. Or in other words: If a quadrilateral is inscribed in a circle, opposite angles are supplementary.

Okay. Thank you!
