How can you tell the period of a function by looking at a table ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

period on a graph is the amount of space that it takes a single portion of the graph to repeat, if you look at a sine wave you can see that the period is 2pi. to explain this a little better, if you were to cut out the space from 0 to 2pi of this graph you could put it end to end (like a ruler) to cover the entire graph and you would never have the overlaying or underlaying lines diverge. |dw:1383528668679:dw|
