If two figures are similar, the resulting corresponding angles are always what?
the same / equal / congruent
If two figures are similar, the corresponding angles are equal.
equal. BUt the sides aren't
a. enlarged b. reduced c. congruent d. similar so similar?
Those choices are for which question?
If two figures are similar, the resulting corresponding angles are always ?
congruent (equal).
okay ! thanks(:
In your original post of the question, you had other choices. That's why asked you for which question are those choices.
oh well sorry being unclear... but thanks for helping !

When 3 angles of one triangle are equal to three angles of another triangle, the two triangles are similar. Really, all what you need is two angles of one triangle to be rqual to two angles of another triangle for the triangles to be similar (as the remaining angles will be equal since their sum must be 180 degrees).
ohhhh i get it(:
As you can see, the sides are not equal; the corresponding sides will be in proportion. @momats
BC/EF = AC/DF = AB/DE
okay I do believe i understand.
Great! One other thing, if you have two triangles that their corresponding sides are in prportion, then the two triangles are similar. That's the converse of the original statement.
oh that makes sense thanks (:

Look at the two triangles...their corresponding sides are in prportion...the larger triangle has a length of 3 times the smaller triangle; so all sides are in proportion; therefore, the two triangles are similar.
Hence, the corresponding angles are equal in measure.
Done.
