is this a question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is in the wrong section. this is mathematics.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

uh, what are the examples? the last paragraph?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the first sentence is using imagery, describing the visual aspect of the colors of the scene. the second sentence is using a simile, using as to compare a gardener protecting his plant from a storm to the police protecting the school bus full of children from angry bystanders.

if the only examples are the two sentences in the last paragraph, then yes. but, depending on your class level, you may want to make the answer a bit more wordy. also, change it up a bit, like don't use the word sentence, use the word example, because directly copying an answer can be suspicious, as it often doesn't use your vocabulary and it just doesn't sound like you wrote it.

Not a problem.
