find x when 1-2cosx=0 on the interval [0,3pi]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

add 2cosx over to 0 so you get 1=2cosx and divide by 2 do now you have cox=(1/2) and find the angles where cos is (1/2) and remember to keep them between 0 and 3pi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well i did that and got pi/3 and 5pi/3 but i dont know how to find the other angles!

OpenStudy (mertsj):

There will be one more and it will be between 2 pi and 3 pi.

OpenStudy (anonymous):
