A rectangle is inscribed within a circle. The coordinates of the rectangle are (-2,3), (16,3), (-2,-5), and (16,-5). What is the area and circumference?

I got the answer I just have one question left

@ineedhelp10 The diagonal of the rectangle is the diameter of the circle. Get the length of the diagonal (Distance Formula) and take half of that to get the radius of the circle. Then, you can find the circumference and area. Because the rectangle is inscribed in the circle, any one of its right angles is an inscribed angle of the circle. The measure of an inscribed angle of a circle is half its intercepted arc. So, if the angle is 90, the arc is 180 which renders the diagonal as a diameter of the circle. |dw:1383554414253:dw|
