what characteristics do the nucleus, mitochondria, and the vacoules of animal cells have in common?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The nucleus, mitochondria as well as the vacuoles have a plasma membrane made of phospholipids which acts as a compartment to allow division of labor, this plasma membrane separates each of one these organelles from the cytoplasm to allow them to carry out different functions. Also, all three of them give out energy when carrying out their function. They are all involved in making food for the cells.

OpenStudy (gtxmuqsit):

all are membrane bounded
