Therefore when x = 4.0, y = 16.0.

There is not an answer with 16.0. The answers i have are 
11.0
17.85
24.10 and 43.20

I thought it was 43.20 because because I halved 88.36 and that was the closest to it.
I did that because 4.0*2 would be 8 and that is close to 9.4.
