ok, first you have to separate both of the inequalities into two separate inequalities, so you have 6b < 24 , and you have 4b + 12 > 4. thats the first step

so the second inequality would equal: 4b + 12 > 4 would be -2?

the first inequality 6b < 24 would be b < 4
so the answer would be b > -2 0r b < 4
