Question

I look at my hands, my fingertips almost frozen, mere purple.
And my face, cheeks rosy, red nose, lips shades of pale blue
constricted veins, uncleansed blood, frozen to indigo hue.
snowflakes falling, slowly, it should be warm inside.
but for a moment, the cold feels warm inside my chest.
so outside is where I'll rest.

for a minute,
awhile,

til i shake from the inside out.

hemoglobin, two fold.
Science in the cold, signs to behold.
