MEDAL WILL BE GIVEN! -->Is there a difference between Ms. & Miss? If so what is the difference?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"Miss" means the woman is single, and "Ms." could be a single woman or a married woman

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Miss is a title for a woman who is unmarried, and is usually used with women that have never been married. Ms. is an indefinite title for a woman who's marital status is unknown. It was introduced by the Feminist movement in the 1960's by women who felt that they should be known for something other than who they were married to.
