A pulley system is released from rest. m_a=2.7kg, m_b=5.3kg and m_p=5.3kg. R_p= 0.36m and the radius of gyration of the pulley is k_r=0.34m. g=9.8m/s ². A friction moment (couple) of M_f=2.66N.m in the pulley axle bearings opposes the rotation of the pulley. What is the speed of B 1.11s after the system is released from rest? (heres what I've attemped to do so far) I thought if I formed 3 simultaneous equations to solve for Tension by B, and find accel. However I think i've left out the Moment on the pulley, as I don't know where use this? Diagram and what i've done below.

I have a little bit of time to look at this. It's realistic, which might be fun. So, like:|dw:1383613982957:dw|
