I have pi/6, 0, and 5pi/6 need to know how to get pi. i have the answers, i just don't know how to get pi
1. subtract sinx from both sides. 2. factor out sinx 3. set each factor equal to 0 4. Solve each equation.
Note that, you need to take care about the general solution. like x = n \(\pi\) for sin x = 0
my answer key is saying that pi is an answer, i don't know how to solve for it

The above answer by mertsj can be further corrected to : x = n\(\pi\) x = \(2n\pi + \cfrac{\pi}{6} \) \(x = 2n\pi + \cfrac{5\pi}{6}\)
gotcha 0+180 makes sense now!
