MEDAL!!!! SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP!?

could somebody re-word this for me?

When I was young, I once wrote, that I would be a different person in the future,
and what i was thinking was that I would be different when i was dead,
when God's angel would take me and would make it so.
But then I finally saw you, and saw you had an angelic soul!

I was very ill for a long time, and was fed up with it,
but you came and made me feel better so quickly
that I felt I was closer to God, that I was becoming a better person
and now I don't want my life to be like it was before (thinking of death).

I will put aside those words I said long ago
and make myself a new prophesy - (I will live)
now you are with me, you are my angel
the one I never thought I would find in this world
