r=4 cm , angle= pi 4 how can i get the arclength?

Directrix (directrix):

Looking at the diagram, one remembers that the measure of a central angle of a circle is the same as its intercepted arc. That would give 45 degrees for the arc measure. But, that is not the same as arc length in that degrees are not real numbers. |dw:1383651994315:dw|
