Determine the type of boundary line and shading for the graph of the inequality -5x - y <= -2 please help Dashed line with shading on the side that includes the origin. Solid line with shading on the side that does not include the origin. Dashed line with shading on the side that does not include the origin. Solid line with shading on the side that includes the origin.

OpenStudy (helder_edwin):

u have \[ -5x-y\leq-2 \] if u multiply by (-1), u get \[ 5x+y\geq2 \] right?

OpenStudy (helder_edwin):

<= or >= means solid line, whereas > or < means dashed line

OpenStudy (helder_edwin):

the origin has coordinates (x,y)=(0,0), of u replace this into \[ 5x+y\geq2 \] u get \[ 5\cdot0+0\geq2 \] is this last one true?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so is it the one where it says a solid line with shading on the side that includes the origin

OpenStudy (helder_edwin):

u did not answer my question

OpenStudy (helder_edwin):

is \(5\cdot0+0\geq2\)?
