What is the approximate distance from (4, 6) to (-2,1)? 5 units 9 units 6 units 8 units

OpenStudy (austinl):

\(d=\sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2}\) Do you think you could solve from here?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

of course not

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i kind of in the middle of a test

OpenStudy (austinl):

Ok, we have two points: \((4,6)\rightarrow(x_1,y_1)\\ (-2,1)\rightarrow(x_2,y_2)\) Knowing that these are the values, do you think you could solve it now? And now that you have said that it is a test, you are on your own. We aren't allowed to help with tests.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

austin rina says its 9 units what do you think

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i need a second thought

OpenStudy (austinl):

You'll not get an answer from me. I gave you more help than I should have. You are taking a test, and getting help here during a test is a no-no. From what I posted, you should be able to solve easily.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well we have our answer folks its 9 units thanks for your support rina
