For this assessment you will create your own code of ethics. You may want to review the codes presented in this lesson to come up with your own. Create five ethical rules that you believe you should follow as a journalist and describe what those rules mean. Then explain why you feel that your five rules are the most important ethical guidelines for a journalist to follow.

Yes, well, that would give you two.  Or you could take your first one and break it into things that describe how they do that.

Another thing is to think of some problems and then write some rules to prevent them.  Like what if they reported favorably on the politician they liked while ignoring faults?  What about if they used their position to make a company look bad so they could change the stock price?  What other things could be manipulated by a trusted source of information?
