Question

I would like to know how many people read something the way I wrote it and how many read it the way my professor says it should be read to see if my issue is common place or just me being a little weird. Consult my drawing and tell me which statement is true. Also since I am from Canada I would appreciate if any Canadians would identify themselves as they have been brought in an, at least, similar notation as me.
