why are there no actual lecture videos or even lecture notes to study
Each week we receive, links to lectures. http://www.greenteapress.com/thinkpython/thinkCSpy/html/index.html http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/electrical-engineering-and-computer-science/6-00sc-introduction-to-computer-science-and-programming-spring-2011/unit-1/lecture-4-machine-interpretation-of-a-program/
i'm sorry I was actually asking for the 6.189 not 6.00 all I see at 6.189 are python codes assignments and readings
Sorry. Let me try that again. I sent the wrong link. The Python course is based upon the 6.00 course and the lectures are the exact same. You should get the links to the lectures each week if you signed up for the Mechanical MOOC emails. If not, you can follow the new course sequence here. http://goo.gl/fGYwpm
If you are having trouble getting up to speed with the basics, watch the first 10 videos here: http://thenewboston.org/list.php?cat=36 That should get you into Python enough to get more out of the other reference.
Thanks @e.mccormick. You rock.
You too, @Setholopolis23.
