how can a dictatorship best be classified?

A dictatorship can be described as a government where people are not free to do what they want or where people have little or no say, instead the government makes strict rules that must'nt be broken. E.g No drinking alcohol, then nobody is supposed to drink alcohol or that person will be killed. And in most dictatorship countries elections are not free and fair i.e people are forced to vote for one party only
