If you are dealt one card from a standard 52-card deck, find the probability of being dealt a card greater than 4 and less than 10.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think there are 20 cards in the deck that are greater than 4 and less than 10 so yo have 20 chances in 52 of being dealt one of those.

can u figure out the probability ?

Directrix (directrix):

Looking at the sample space for the card draw may help. http://www.jfitz.com/cards/

20/52=5/13

Ive not done probability before but I think it might be 5 chances in 13 but your best bet is to ask someone like @Hero
