How did Christianity’s influence on society change because of the Crusades?

Well the crusades were caused because of Christianity. They were used as kinda a way to gain control of lands and convert people to the religion. How much info do you need for this?

Christianity did get influence on the society because crusades, in some areas it discouraged the trade between the Christians and Muslims. Crusades created tension and rivalry between Christians and Muslims. Why? Because of the different beliefs they had and to whom should Jerusalem be with.

well, the Crusades were Christian military

they wanted to take back Jerusalem from the Muslims and basically turn it to the Catholic church.
