If a quadrilateral is a kite then the diagonals bisect each other. True or False

Directrix (directrix):

@cwright150 If the diagonals of a quadrilateral bisect each other, then the quadrilateral is a parallelogram. A parallelogram and a kite are not the same. So, what is the correct answer to this question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Directrix so the answer to this question would be falls because it is not a parallelogram. am i correct?

Directrix (directrix):

False is the correct answer. Here's a great site for reading up on the properties of a kite: http://www.coolmath.com/reference/kites.html
