Simplify completely quantity 4 x plus 16 over 6 2 open parentheses x plus 4 close parentheses over 3 2 open parentheses x plus 8 close parentheses over 3 4 open parentheses x plus 2 close parentheses over 3 4 open parentheses x plus 8 close parentheses over 3

4x+16 / 6 2(x+4) / 3 2(x+8) / 3 4(x+2) / 3 4(x+8) / 3 Which one of them would you like me to explain? The first step in all of them is to distribute the numbers outside of the parenthesis with the numbers+symbols inside the parenthesis.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You use the same concept for all of them. Distribute and then see if you can reduce it. For example for 4x+16/6 everything here can be divided by 2. You divide everything by 2 and get 2x+8/3 :)

\[(2x+8)\div3\] is wrong for future people
