Okay how i would go about this is by trying to figure out the decimal, divide 7/8 and you get a decimal then you plug in 7 8 14 and 28 until you get the same decimal again.


7/8 - .875

7/36 doesn't matter its not it

8/36 is still too small

14/36 is kind of close but you can see that it is less then half of 36 so you can rule it out

28/36 is .875 you didn't even need to put it in a calculator!
