Carlos and his friends are thinking about taking a cab home. The cost for the cab ride is $1.50 per mile. Write a formula that will help Carlos determine how much each friend will have to pay for the cab ride. Let's let x = number of miles traveled y = number of friends in the cab z = cost for each friend @maxdrizner

1.50x+y=z

Wrong >.< sucks that it don't tell me the correct answer either.. hah. Thanks tho again.

OpenStudy (maxdrizner):

well you would think because it is 1.50 per mile. and x would be the number of miles traveled so 1.50+x+y=z
