Can there be another OS color? @_@ A rather light, cheery type? ^_^ Like light blue or light pink? @_@

or perhaps, is there a way where we can pick our own color to be, reaching a certain level? This color can be for OS users who have been in OS for a LONG time, or for achieving something special ^_^

Like I mentioned in chat. It would be rather neat if you could when you level up to a new level, if you could choose between a small selection of colors. This would still work because people would quickly catch on that certain colors can only be for certain levels.

It's just a matter of changing the Cascading Style Sheet, a tag that modifies the entire website. Not too hard. I could do it in a few minutes - but, right now, we're not exactly flourishing with developers. It's a good idea, but might need to wait! :-3

I think that would have the same effect as changing your name in general, years of archives going bye bye.

Changing your name is hard, because your name acts as a tag for nearly every attribute in your profile. An Administrator would have to change every tag where your name is used, and redo every action you've ever made. Your name is like an identifier, and if a moderator didn't change every action, your profile wouldn't work properly. It's a painstaking task and has never been done.

If you subscribe you can change your name. But don't do that now. We are designing a new set of features and changing your colors will be one of them. And personalizing your user profile will be another. Char, can you start a new question and get people to tell you what they wish they could change on their profile. How they would personalize it? @Compassionate did an excellent job for us - getting some specs of a private room.
