There are several ways to express how many more can be in the restaurant. here is how I would express it. x equals the total number of additional people that can be allowed into the restaurant. \[x \le 120\] Now if we assume that the 72 customers are remaining in the restaurant and x is the additional people that can enter we could express it this way \[x \le 120 -72\]
